What you'll be doing:
- Carry out fine detail hand soldering for surface mount components
- Support production output as part of a close-knit manufacturing team
- Use and operate a pick-and-place machine (preferred)
- Assist with assembly tasks as required
- Carry out basic electrical testing (where needed/available within the role)
- Work to production schedules and maintain quality throughout your shift
What you'll bring:
- Experience working in production teams within a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)
- Demonstrable fine detail hand soldering experience on surface mount (required)
- Pick-and-place machine experience (required)
- Soldering skills aligned to IPC-610 (preferred)
- Care and precision with a strong eye for detail
- Clear communication skills and a team-first approach
- The confidence to meet targets and work consistently to timescales
Additional information:
- Training will be provided on site
- Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
- Permanent full-time position with an immediate start possible
- Salary £29,500 plus overtime, company pension and free on-site parking
