Purpose of the role
Assemble thermal management heat exchangers ensuring product conforms to drawing and customer requirements, perform production acceptance testing on assembled units using Pneumatic, hydraulic , and flow testing rigs. Follow standard operating procedures, work to quality engineering standards, and ensure product safety. Read engineering drawings and conduct visual inspection of part prior to assembly and throughout the assembly and test process.
Experience required
Apprentice engineering. An engineering apprenticeship is desirable, although training will be given. 5 year's similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings. Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable. Ability to operate various inspection and test equipment. Good computer skills are desirable, as is a knowledge of the computer systems used (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Q-Pulse etc). Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision. Good oral and written communication skills are required.
