TIG Welder (Abingdon-On-Thames)

A specialist international manufacturing firm in metal based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire are looking for some experienced TIG welders to join the growing company on a permanent basis. You need to be a confident TIG Welder with experience in a manufacturing environment alongside having a selection of fabrication techniques. Additional experience of MIG welding and working with pressure vessels would be advantageous, as would Dye Penetrant, CSWIP or PCN2 qualifications. Predominantly TIG welding – working to accredited, regulatory codes Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) Non welding eg forming, grinding, operating overhead cranes They also offer a fantastic benefits package: Salary offered is between £33 – £36k (Potentially higher depending on experience) Overtime is paid at time and a half and double at the weekends. Late Shift – 14:15 to 22:25 Monday to Thursday, 13:00 to 19:00 Friday + 14% shift allowance Overtime is paid at time and a half and double at the weekends.
