A specialist international manufacturing firm in metal based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire are looking for some experienced TIG welders to join the growing company on a permanent basis. You need to be a confident TIG Welder with experience in a manufacturing environment alongside having a selection of fabrication techniques. Additional experience of MIG welding and working with pressure vessels would be advantageous, as would Dye Penetrant, CSWIP or PCN2 qualifications.

Predominantly TIG welding – working to accredited, regulatory codes. Understanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS). Non welding tasks include forming, grinding, and operating overhead cranes.

The hours for this role are 37 per week, Monday to Friday on two different shifts depending on what shift you prefer:

  • Early Shift – 05:45 to 13:45 Monday to Thursday, 05:55 to 13:00 Friday.
  • Late Shift – 14:15 to 22:25 Monday to Thursday, 13:00 to 19:00 Friday + 14% shift allowance.
