Manufacturing Engineer
to join its Portsmouth site on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with strong
3D CAD experience
and a background in manufacturing process improvement to support production operations within a leading global technology and engineering organisation. Key Responsibilities
Generate and develop
3D CAD models
to support manufacturing requirements. Plan, design and optimise manufacturing processes within the production environment. Analyse equipment layouts, workflows, assembly methods and workforce utilisation to maximise efficiency and productivity. Identify and specify the parts, tooling and equipment required to achieve manufacturing objectives. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost and delivery performance. Ensure manufacturing processes meet product specifications and business requirements. Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to improve operational performance. Essential Requirements
Proven experience in a
Manufacturing Engineer
or similar engineering role. Strong proficiency in
3D CAD modelling . Understanding of manufacturing processes, production methods and workflow optimisation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Experience analysing manufacturing layouts, tooling and assembly processes. Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous. Ability to demonstrate practical experience and proven capability within a manufacturing environment. Additional Information
