The Role
As a Pipefitter, you will play a key role in the installation and assembly of complex piping systems within a highly regulated engineering and construction environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fabricating and assembling pipework using specialist tools and techniques.
- Installing and securing piping systems in line with detailed specifications.
- Testing and inspecting pipework to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
- Preparing work areas and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Assisting Supervisors in ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required standards.
- Supporting the successful delivery of critical mechanical systems.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in the manufacture of small and large bore pressure pipework.
- Experience in the installation of pressure pipework, superheater headers, and vessels.
- Previous experience working on outages, shutdowns, major projects, or new-build engineering construction sites.
- Experience within one or more of the following sectors:
- Nuclear
- Oil & Gas
- Thermal Power
- Heavy Engineering Construction
Essential Qualifications
- Full Level 3 Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in:
- Pipework Fabrication
- Pipe Welding
- Marine Plumbing
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport
