Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotating shifts
- Afternoons: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Nights: 10:00pm - 6:00am
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour plus shift allowance
About the Role
Manpower are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a busy manufacturing and finishing operation. This role involves preparing and coating a variety of metal components to a high-quality standard, ensuring finished products meet customer specifications and company quality requirements.
The successful candidate will have previous powder coating experience, a strong eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging parts.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply powder coatings to achieve a consistent, high-quality finish.
- Carry out colour changes and monitor curing processes.
- Inspect completed components to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safe working practices.
- Follow production schedules and quality procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements within the manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Powder Coating role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good understanding of coating processes and finishing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
- Flexibility to work rotating afternoon and night shifts on a weekly basis.
