Rate: £23.00 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: 8 weeks intially
Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join a maintenance team working across a campus environment in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair works to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing installations across campus buildings.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and pipework issues.
- Install and maintain sanitary ware, taps, toilets, sinks, and associated systems.
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
- Liaise with site staff and report any additional remedial works required.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in installation and maintenance plumbing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant CSCS card (if required).
