Manpower are looking for a 7.5T / HGV2 Driver to work for our client based in Coatbridge. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company, working in brand-new facilities with top-of-the-line equipment, while making a positive environmental impact.
Job Overview: As an HGV Delivery Driver, you will be the "face of the business," delivering fresh cooking oil to the catering industry and collecting used oil to return to the Microsite. Relationship building with customers is key, as our client aims to ensure every order is fulfilled in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner. You'll also have the opportunity to assist in generating new business during your rounds.
Key Responsibilities: Pre-trip inspection of the vehicle to ensure that it is in proper working order and complies with safety regulations. Regular maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it remains in proper working order and reporting any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel. Driving the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, while adhering to traffic laws and complying with all safety regulations and procedures while operating the vehicle. Safely Loading and unloading of cargo and ensuring it is secured according to safety regulations. Delivering fresh oil to the catering / restaurant trade and collecting used cooking oil.
