Manpower are currently recruiting for a Night Hygiene Operative to join a well-established Coldstore and Warehouse Site. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping within a fast-paced environment.
Location: Site location requires own or reliable transport. No public transport links are available to the site.
Shift Pattern: 8pm-5am Monday to Thursday (Friday flexibility is also required).
Pay Rate: £13.85ph.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitising doors, safety-barriers, general safety equipment, windows, building infrastructure.
- General yard tidy-up including sweeping / maintaining cleanliness throughout warehouse and production areas.
- Cleaning high-level areas, including behind evaporators and roof void access points.
- Maintaining hygiene standards within loading and dispatch areas.
- Following all site hygiene, health & safety, and food safety procedures.
- Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed schedules.
- Correctly using cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
- Previous experience within a hygiene, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or warehouse environment is desirable.
- Experience working within food production or FMCG environments would be advantageous.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work night shifts consistently.
