Joiner (x2) Location: Glasgow, G4 Rate: £20.00 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Duration: Minimum 12-week contract with potential for permanent employment The Role We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Joiners to work across a campus in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for time-served tradespeople to join a busy maintenance and refurbishment team carrying out a variety of joinery works throughout university buildings. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be physically fit and comfortable walking between multiple buildings and locations across the campus throughout the working day. Key Responsibilities Reinstatement and replacement of skirting boards Installation and repair of door locks and ironmongery Hanging, fitting, and repairing doors Construction and alteration of timber stud partitions Repair and maintenance of timber windows General joinery maintenance and refurbishment works Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements Essential Requirements Time-served Joiner City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 Proven experience in maintenance, refurbishment, or property repairs Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Able to us own hand and power tools Physically fit and able to walk between buildings throughout the day Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Desirable Requirements Experience working within public sector, hospitality, or commercial facilities Additional Information Minimum 12 weeks' work available Opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate Monday to Friday working pattern No on-site parking available Immediate start available subject to successful application If you are a skilled, reliable, and time-served Joiner looking for a long-term opportunity in Glasgow, we'd like to hear from you.
