Job Responsibilities

  • Pack products safely and accurately in line with company procedures and customer requirements.
  • Prepare items for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling, documentation, and packaging specifications.
  • Check packed goods for quality and completeness before they are moved to the next stage.
  • Maintain a clean and organised packing area, following housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Handle materials carefully to minimise damage and waste.
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production and dispatch targets.
  • Report any issues, discrepancies, or damaged items to the relevant supervisor promptly.
  • Follow all health and safety rules, including safe manual handling practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous packing, warehouse, or production experience is desirable (but full training may be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing, labelling, and order completeness.
  • Good timekeeping and reliability, with the ability to work to shift schedules.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting targets.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for checking quantities and reading instructions.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions clearly.
  • Safe manual handling practices and awareness of workplace safety procedures.
  • Experience using handheld scanners or basic warehouse systems is beneficial.
