As the first line of defence on site, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of critical facilities while working as part of a dedicated and supportive security team.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Security Guard, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting site patrols and security checks
Monitoring CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems
Controlling access for employees, visitors, and contractors
Undertaking vehicle, baggage, and personnel searches
Performing escort duties across the site
Issuing and managing site keys and security equipment
Recording incidents and maintaining accurate documentation
Completing security reports and logs
Liaising with emergency services and external agencies when required
Supporting ongoing security training and development initiatives
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
Full UK manual driving licence
Valid UK passport
Eligibility to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good administration and record-keeping abilities
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Reliable timekeeping and professional conduct

Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires successful completion of:
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
Security Check (SC) clearance
Occupational Health screening
Candidates must be able to satisfy UK Government security vetting requirements, including checks relating to identity, employment history, nationality, criminal record, and financial circumstances.
