The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to join a leading manufacturing business in Co. Tyrone. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator to support the procurement and finance functions within a fast-paced production environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing purchase orders, supplier invoices, procurement records, and supplier communications, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the purchasing process.
Following the initial 3-month contract period, there is the potential for the role to become permanent for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive, scan, log, and process supplier invoices
- Maintain procurement and supplier records within company systems
- Liaise with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, invoices, and delivery schedules
- Support the procurement and finance teams with administrative duties
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies relating to orders, invoices, and supplier documentation
- Assist with supplier onboarding and document control processes
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures and policies
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to support production requirements
- Provide general administrative support to the wider business where required
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a Procurement Administration, Purchasing Administration, Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, or similar role
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems, ideally Xero
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional approach when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
