We are recruiting a dedicated School Caretaker on behalf of our client.\n The Role \n As School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and presentation of the school premises. n \n Opening and closing the school site \n Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs \n Ensuring the school grounds are clean, tidy and well-maintained \n Conducting health and safety checks such as legionella, fire alarm testing etc \n Monitoring contractors whilst on site \n Setting up rooms for meetings, events and school activities \n Reporting maintenance issues and larger repairs \n About You \n The successful candidate will: \n \n Have previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site management experience \n Be practical and confident carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks \n Have a good understanding of health and safety responsibilities \n Be organised, reliable and able to work independently \n Possess good communication skills and a positive approach \n Be flexible to support the needs of the school \n Additional Information \n \n Weekly pay (PAYE) \n This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
