Maintenance Operative Location: Cardiff City Centre Contract : Permanent Start date: Within 1 - 2 weeks Pay: £13.45 per hour Hours: Part time, Tuesday, to Thursday. 10 am - 4 pm (18 hours per week)
We're recruiting a Maintenance Operative to support the upkeep of a busy site in Cardiff City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical maintenance experience looking for a part-time role with consistent hours. What you'll be doing:
Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks Basic painting, repairs and upkeep of the building Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Identifying and resolving maintenance issues Supporting the wider team with day-to-day maintenance requirements
What you'll bring:
Previous experience in a maintenance, caretaking, facilities, or similar hands-on role Confidence using tools and carrying out basic repairs A practical approach with good attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
