This temporary Class 1 Driver - Shunting work role in Brigg suits a licensed C+E holder seeking ongoing weekday shifts. Based from Elsham, the successful candidate drives a curtainsider between the production site and a Stallingborough warehouse, completing shunting duties throughout each day. Hours run Monday to Friday, with starts between 06:30 and 07:00 and finishes from 15:30 to 16:00. All palletised loads are handled by forklift operators, so no manual unloading is required. The Role
You will be driving a Class 1 Curtainsider vehicle, collecting your truck from Elsham and completing shunting work between the production site and warehouse in Stallingborough throughout the day.
- Ongoing Class 1 work with the potential to become a permanent role
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- Start times between 06:30 - 07:00
- Finish times between 15:30 - 16:00
- Palletised loads with all loading and unloading completed by FLT drivers
- No handball involved
- Pay Rates (PAYE)
- £15.00 per hour
- £18.00 per hour after 8 hours and at weekends
- 28 days holiday per year

What You Need
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Digi card and Driver CPC
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD/DR convictions)
