Warehouse Operative - FLT DriverLocation: Burton-On-Trent, DE14 2BGPay rate: Β£13.25 per hourContract: TempShifts: Monday - Friday 0800-1600 and 1600-0000 (Rotating shifts)The FLT Driver will be responsible for safely operating forklift trucks to move stock, load and unload vehicles, and support warehouse operations during the shift. The role requires working safely, following warehouse procedures, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and accuracy.
What you'll be doing:
Operating an FLT to load and unload HGVs and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
Move stock around the warehouseComplete picking and put-away tasksCarry out daily vehicle and safety checksUse warehouse systems including scanners and EWMFollow Health & Safety and site procedures at all timesMaintain good housekeeping standards and follow 5S principlesWork closely with the Production and Warehouse teamsSupport continuous improvement activities across siteWhat you'll bring :Valid FLT licence - in house training certificates are acceptedPrevious FLT experienceA positive attitude and strong attention to detailAbility to work efficiently both independently and as part of a teamGood organisational skills and a proactive approachFlexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesExperience in a similar packing or warehouse role is essential.
