We are looking for a Maintenance Operative in Southampton to work on site at the docks.
The role will be supporting with a range of duties and departments including;
- Electric Vehicle distribution and checking the state of charge of vehicle batteries as they are loaded off the ship. You’ll be required to record the data and place the vehicles on charge before they are sent out to customers.
- Checking over vehicles to ensure they are not damaged before they go out to the customer
- Reviewing number plates on vehicles and ensuring the correct plate is fitted. This will involve some reporting and working on computers.
- Washing vehicles
- Moving vehicles around the compound and parking them closely together
- Other duties as and when required
The hours will be Monday – Friday 06:00 – 14:30 and you’ll be paid £11.44 per hour for your hard work.
Please note you will be required to work outside, regardless of the weather due to business needs.
