Maintenance Engineer (PPM) – Food Manufacturing
Location: Thetford
Salary: £42,500 basic
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM
A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled PPM Engineer to support their Reliability Engineer and help drive continuous improvement on-site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability
Work proactively rather than reactively, ensuring minimal downtime
Assist shift engineers with breakdowns and larger project work
Play a key role in training and upskilling the wider team
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Strong mechanical skills with some electrical knowledge
✅ NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in Engineering or a related field
