Class 2 Driver – Multidrop
Location: Leeds, LS27
Shifts: Monday – Friday, start times between 6am – 7am, shifts 10 hours long- Guarantee 5 days of work
Contract – Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: £13.46

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client team! If you’re driven, detail-oriented, and ready to take on new challenges, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating commercial vehicles up to and 26 tonnes, including rigid trucks, and trailer wagons
  • Driving long or short distances
  • Multi-drop between 15 to 25 drops per day
  • Maintain Good Customer service + direct client communication –
  • Supervising or helping unload goods
  • Lifting and carrying goods , loading and unloading, a lot of heavy lifting
  • Making sure loads are safely secured
  • Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
  • Completing delivery paperwork or Electronic App
  • Comply with Driver Hour Tacho and road Regulations
  • Drive in an efficient and economical manner
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks (start + end of shift)
  • Report and correctly any accident or incident
  • If necessary, spending night away from home during long haul deliveries.
  • Complete/ keep up to date with FORS eLearning Modules.

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 2 (C) License and Driver CPC card.
  • A valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • Ability to lift and carry goods heavy goods
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FORS and commitment to completing eLearning modules.
  • Experience of working within an Transport (warehouse and distribution) environment.
  • Working knowledge of distribution environment and driver’s hour regulations.
