Manpower is supporting a leading logistics provider at their Widnes depot, working in partnership with one of the UK's most recognisable retailers. We're looking for reliable Class 1 Drivers who want consistent work, fixed start times, and a well run operation. This is an ongoing temporary role with regular, reliable hours every week. Full and part time hours available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering caged retail products to stores across the Northwest - routes may include Cumbria to Aberystwyth.
- Runs will typically include 1-5 drops per shift.
- Operating mainly 13m trailers, with occasional double-decks or Class 2 vehicles.
- Completing all digital and manual paperwork accurately.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and working safely at all times.
- Weekend working is required as part of every shift pattern.
- Part time contracts are available for Thursday-Saturday shifts.
Shift Availability
- Start times vary between 00:00-03:00 or 14:00-22:00.
- Shifts always include Friday and Saturday.
- Monday-Friday only patterns aren't available.
- Day shift rates apply 06:00-18:00.
- Night shift rates apply 18:00-06:00.
- Guaranteed, ongoing work throughout the year.
- Shifts available across all 7 days.
Pay Rates
- Mon-Fri Days: £19.02
- Mon-Fri Nights: £21.29
- Weekend Days: £22.07
- Weekend Nights: £22.91
What We're Looking For
- Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Maximum of 6 points (no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements).
- Good knowledge of the UK road network.
- At least 6 months' experience essential.
- A positive, can do attitude and the ability to pass an onsite assessment.
