About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Support Specialist to join our team in Yeovil. You will report directly to the Senior Engineering Supervisor and play a key role in providing intermediate-level Configuration Management support for our REACH obsolescence program. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for maintaining engineering data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and promote robust configuration management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve configuration issues.
- Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on configuration management best practices.
- Ensure changes to product configurations are properly documented, controlled, and communicated with internal and external stakeholders.
- Process design data releases and changes.
- Create and revise EBOMs (Engineering Bills of Materials).
- Ensure integrity of EBOM data as it transitions from PLM to SAP.
Mandatory Requirements
- Full BPSS Screening, including:
- Proof of Legal Right To Work in the UK
- Criminal Records Check (UK DBS)
- Drugs Screening
