Vehicle Maintenance Technician Location: Wellingborough Working hours: Mon – Fri 40 hours per week Shifts available: 06:00-14:30 10:00-18:30 13:30-21:00 Shifts will be discussed during interview stage. Salary: Base pay £20.77 per hour. Premium paid for hours worked between 7pm – 10pm, and 10pm – 6am . What you will be doing: * Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties * Completing signed service and inspection records * Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements * Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass * Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects What do you bring with you: * Your skill and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one) * Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment * Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components * Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills * Valid driving license What do we offer: * Attractive compensation package * Training to get you started and on-the-job learning opportunities * Extensive learning resources to further develop your skills and knowledge * Tuition Assistance Program * Employee Assistance Program for you and your family in difficult life situations * Employee reduced-rate shipping * Great career opportunities
