Manpower is recruiting a Technical Engineer working on Fleet Systems with our client who are Northern Irelands leading transport service provider Competitive salary and fantastic pension benefits along with long term career development opportunities The successful candidate will provide technical support focusing on fleet systems, such as enhanced passenger information, communication systems and on board vehicle systems.

Suitable candidates will need at least HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
The Role Lead and coordinate upgrades of real time passenger information system, ensuring compliance with project management and project control procedures Coordinate the onboard fitting of radio systems and audio visual system on vehicles Develop project schedules and risk plans, identify key phases and inter-dependencies Monitor the performance of all “on-vehicle” bus and train systems including Wi-Fi, CCTV, Passenger Information Systems and Seat Reservation Systems Develop and manage the performance monitoring process for Fleet Systems across the Bus and Rail fleets.
Investigate fleet system faults and defects by the application of statistical analysis to identify trends and recommend remedial and future action plans.
Provide specialist technical advice, training and practical assistance to Bus and Rail engineering and operational personnel to achieve solutions to problems.
