Job Title: Team Assistant – Reporting Location: HPC Site (minimum 3 days/week), with travel to Aztec West & Bridgewater Contract: Full-time, yearly rolling basis – 37 hours Pay Rate: £137 per day About the Role The Joint Design Office (JDO) is looking for a proactive and organised Team Assistant – Reporting to join the Quality Team within the Integration Branch. In this role, you\’ll help enhance the JDO\’s granular reporting capabilities and ensure accurate operational and project KPI reporting to support the HPC (Hinkley Point C) mission. This is a key position supporting the transition from Civil Works to M&E installation, where clear, actionable data is essential. You\’ll be instrumental in maintaining dashboards, tracking change objects, and supporting reporting functions using the HPC Plant Life Management (PLM) tool. What You\’ll Be Doing Extracting, maintaining, and publishing daily KPI reporting dashboards Supporting the tracking and reporting of JDO Change Objects Providing interface support to Operational Delivery teams Supporting the JDO Configuration team with reporting and manual data extracts Assisting in issue resolution and user support related to dashboards and reporting tools Contributing to continuous improvement of reporting methods and supporting the JDO Technical Assistant with reporting development Taking on additional tasks as directed by the JDO Quality ManagerAbout You You\’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-rich environment and enjoys turning complex information into meaningful insight. Key Skills & Competencies Proficient in data analysis and dashboard management (Excel is essential; Power BI a bonus) Comfortable handling numerical data and creating detailed graphs and visual reports Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills Confident problem-solver with a proactive mindset Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across organisational boundaries Adaptable and able to prioritise in a dynamic project environmentRequirements Essential: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.) Experience in managing KPI reporting and data visualisation Fluent in English Experience working with multiple organisational stakeholdersDesirable: Proficiency in Power BI and knowledge of PLM systems (e.g., 3D Experience/SWITCH) HNC/HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, or relevant technical discipline Familiarity with ISO standards and configuration management principles Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or nuclear projects HPC Security Clearance (or ability to obtain it)
