Role Details
Following the expansion of our services locally, we are promoting a new opportunity to join our experienced team of night unloaders/loaders based at our Strood depot. The role would ideally suit someone with previous experience working nightly hours in a warehouse environment. Skilled use of counterbalance or high reach forklifts is preferred; however, in-house MHE training is available through our accredited instructor, should you wish to pursue this path. Extensive training will be provided in the safe and effective operation of all MHE and processes surrounding loading and unloading of vehicles.
Hours
Hours of work: 40 hours per week, covering 20:00 β 07:30 (inclusive of breaks). 8 hours per day.

- The ability to work under your own initiative or in a team and be flexible in your approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A flexible attitude to working hours
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Applicants must be in good health, reasonably fit, and able to achieve a high work rate
Your day-to-day responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading of our own vehicles
- Undertake manual handling tasks that may involve some heavy lifting in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies to ensure the safety of yourself and colleagues in a busy warehouse environment
