Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the annual sales and marketing plan to deliver the hotel's vision, meet business targets, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Actively seek new and existing corporate clients to exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage corporate contracts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) agreements, and key partnerships to maximise business opportunities.
  • Review current sales processes and introduce new strategies to build a strong sales and marketing culture.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry meetings with the wider sales team.
  • Lead weekly revenue management meetings to optimise income.
  • Manage sales and marketing data and reporting, including analysis to support decision-making.
  • Organise familiarisation and press trips to promote the hotel effectively.
  • Support hotel tours for MICE and weddings to increase enquiry conversion rates.
  • Promote loyalty and dining programmes to improve performance and revenue.
  • Encourage a proactive sales and marketing culture, taking advantage of new opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage the sales and marketing budget in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Manage and support the Events Sales Manager and Reservations Manager, setting targets and overseeing daily tasks.
  • Monitor local market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Collect and provide engaging content for social media marketing.
  • Work with the central marketing team to deliver campaigns and promote hotel events.
  • Create and manage the annual calendar of promotions and special events to drive results.
  • Ensure the hotel is accurately represented across all external platforms, targeting leisure, corporate, MICE, and wedding markets.
  • Collaborate with the Group Sales Manager to engage with potential business clients.
