This assignment is a temporary position starting on 7th April for 6 weeks. In this role, you will join a busy team where you will assist in the planting of over 120,000 plug plants in 7,000 planters. Planters include hanging baskets, window boxes and large ground planters. Each order has a different plant spec, which must be followed to meet the customer's needs. Plant specs are provided, along with labelled plant trays to make planting simple. This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for temporary work with potential for longer-term employment. Plus, it offers a chance to work in an environmentally conscious company with a strong focus on sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Planting a high volume of plug plants in different types of planters.
- Following plant specifications to meet customer needs.
- Ensuring a safe working environment.
- Reporting issues to the line manager as needed.
- To be physically fit as this role is very demanding.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Capable of working safely.
- Experience in working in a busy team and providing a high-quality service.
