Looking for steady work with your weekends free? Join our team in Normanton (WF6) as a Class 1 Trunking Driver, where you'll benefit from a consistent Monday to Friday schedule and modern vehicles. This role involves trunking work with trailer drop and swaps - no handballing required!
Our client, a leading third-party logistics provider, delivers services ranging from global freight forwarding to full truckload transport. They are also committed to sustainability and reducing environmental impact through innovative logistics solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Completing drop and swap trailer runs between key UK locations: Normanton, Ferrybridge, Burton, Bradford, and back
- Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant
- Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles to FORS Gold standards
What we’re looking for:
- Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and DIGI tacho card
- Ideally 12 months experience driving Class 1 HGVs
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
