Manufacturing Technician Location: Birmingham Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30 Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour This onsite role at the Protein Diagnostics Division in Birmingham involves supporting the manufacturing of world-leading diagnostic products. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will be part of a dedicated operations team, ensuring product quality, equipment readiness, and smooth workflow execution. Main Responsibilities Complete assigned manufacturing tasks to a production plan Manage materials and inventory needed for daily work Operate and maintain designated equipment or work areas Ensure work is completed right first time Follow procedures, safety rules, and instructions Support continuous improvement activities Carry out other reasonable duties as requiredRequirements GCSEs (or equivalent) or a relevant degree At least 1 year experience in manufacturing, production, lab, or similar environment Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office / Excel) Good communication skills Ability to follow instructions and prioritise tasksDesirable Experience working in a cGMP or regulated environmentApply now and a member of our team will be in touch
