Manpower is currently looking for a Digital Marketing Executive (B2B/B2C) to work with our global FMCG client, renowned for brands such as Magnum, Carte d'Or, Cornetto, and Walls. The position is based in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. This is a full-time temporary role, Maternity Cover for 12 months requiring 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to £52,000 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements.
About the Role: How we show up as TMICC with our customers and channels is key to driving sales and creating memorable brand experiences. We need to ensure that the B2C and B2B journeys are seamless and always put our brands front and centre. As the B2B wholesaler and retailer environment becomes increasingly digital, we are focused on enhancing how our brands connect with retailers and foodservice partners through our digital commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- B2B Digital: Develop and deliver multi-channel campaigns; Create engaging email, social, and SMS communications for current and prospective customers and wholesaler partners.
- SEO and website management: Plan, execute, and report on SEO strategies and website performance.
- Social media growth: Manage and expand social channels to showcase products, services, and company culture.
- Data management: Source, cleanse, and segment contact data for targeted B2B campaigns.
- Marketing automation: Maintain and optimise smart lists in Marketo, ensuring compliance and effective segmentation.
- Lead generation reporting: Monitor pipeline metrics and support sales reporting.
- Product asset management: Oversee product information and assets to support customers and wholesale partners.
- B2C Shopper Marketing: Programme development; Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Manager and Brand teams to align priorities and identify shopper activation opportunities that meet KPIs and Category Value Drivers.
- Budget allocation: Assign agreed budgets to shopper activation programmes based on channel and retailer priorities.
- Retailer execution: Lead the creation and delivery of shopper marketing programmes in identified retailers.
- Agency briefing: Brief creative agencies and Shopper Activation Teams on key projects.
- ROI evaluation: Plan, measure, and evaluate shopper marketing programmes, leveraging insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, retail media, or performance marketing, ideally within FMCG, retail, or agency environments.
- Familiarity with major retail media platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and campaign management tools.
- Experience in managing or supporting the execution and reporting of performance-driven media campaigns.
- Sound understanding of digital marketing metrics, consumer journeys, and eCommerce ecosystems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and extract actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and digital reporting tools.
- Relevant certifications in digital marketing or social media management are a plus.
About You: You are an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in B2B & B2C environments, ideally within FMCG or agency settings. You know how to harness marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo, to deliver high-impact campaigns and manage customer data with precision. Your expertise in lead generation is second nature, combining strategic thinking, smart segmentation, and CRM best practices to drive results. Exceptional organizational skills, a performance-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive under deadlines and targets are essential. You are a clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a sharp eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.
Additional Information: Contractors who are based at Kingston will be eligible to get free parking at a local carpark. There is a Unilever Staff Shop located on the Ground Floor next to the main entrance, where Contingent Workers can buy discounted Unilever products. A canteen and a gym are available for use on the Ground Floor (with subscription). Facilities in the gym include cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, spin bikes, free weights area, boxing equipment, and a stretch/matted area. Classes are also available and can be booked directly with the gym. Shower facilities are available in the changing rooms, along with hairdryers.
