Hourly Rate: £12.21 - 12.71 - going to upper end of band in April
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract
Contract Dates: Enrolment between 2nd - 13th March until 16th October (weather conditions dependant).
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-12:30
About the role
We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Kendal to work on our Westmorland and Furness contract. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Requirements
- Previous Grounds Maintenance experience is required.
- A full valid UK manual driving licence is essential.
- Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
