Experienced Hospital Porters required for the Headington area. Full time temporary positions at £12.08 per hour. This could be assisting patients to their appointments or from waiting areas to their transport home. You may be assisting with patients on stretchers, in wheelchairs or who just need a helping hand. Key responsibilities: Liaising with control staff on the arrival and departure of patients Moving patients on stretchers or wheelchairs Moving of stores or equipment Moving of patient belongings if required Making the patients feel comfortable and at ease by being friendly and helpful Transfer patients to where they need to go, this will involve having to lift or push patients.
