Manpower is recruiting for a Head Lodge Porter for a 12-week temporary assignment with possibility of extension. The Head Porter has managerial responsibility for the Porters' Lodge, a primary point of contact for members of and visitors to the College. Operating 24 hours a day 365 days a year, the Lodge provides a reception, information, post, telephone and security service. Leading a team of six Lodge Porters, the Head Porter has a key role within the College, presenting the face of the College to the many and varied groups that interact with the college community. Details: 35 hour a week City centre job role – no parking on site Monday to Friday typically ( however if sickness / holiday occur, weekend shifts must be covered by yourself) Must be flexible on shifts and days, could be working 08:00 – 16:00, 09:00 – 17:00, 10:00 – 18:00. £16.46 per hour Essential Relevant managerial experience gained in a comparable role, either in a college Lodge or hotel reception Experience of planning for service delivery Proven ability to provide excellent customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with a wide range of people Friendly, welcoming and professional manner and immaculately presented Able to deal appropriately with confidential matters Desirable Front of house management experience Fire Marshal trained PMS management experience Security experienceApply today and we will be in touch
