Shifts - 4 days off/4 days on, 06:00 - 18:00
Pay Rate - £12.65 per hour
The Raw Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials to support production, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality standards are met.
Key Duties
- Receive and check raw materials against delivery paperwork
- Label, store, and organise materials correctly
- Issue materials to production as required
- Record material movements accurately
- Support stock checks and inventory accuracy
- Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures
- Operate pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained)
- Keep storage areas clean and organised
- Report damaged, expired, or incorrect materials
Requirements
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer or record-keeping skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40-50 lbs
- Willingness to work shifts and onsite
Preferred (Not Essential)
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience
- Forklift licence or training
