Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent Commis Chef for an established restaurant based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire. This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings. The role is paying £25560pa + Service Charge (up to £3000 per year). No Monday working as the restaurant is closed, Sunday lunchtime working only, and allocated one extra evening off per week. Split Shifts required between shifts/straight through working. Car parking on site and live-in options available for a small fee.
Overall Objective: To prepare, cook and serve meals that meet the standards set by the Head Chef. A Commis Chef assists a section chef, also known as a Chef de Partie. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:
- Assisting in the food preparation process
- Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
- Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
- Assisting other Chefs
- Helping with deliveries and restocking
- Assisting with stock rotation/Cleaning stations
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
