Manpower is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our successful manufacturing client in Pocklington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Press Brake Operator to contribute to a thriving manufacturing environment, working straight days Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes, primarily AMADA machines
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine product measurements
- Cut and bend materials according to specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure correct size and shape of finished pieces
- Work with various materials including Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel
- Interpret drawings and check parts to meet company standards
- Work from Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Carry out general maintenance of machines
- Monitor material levels and inform Workshop Manager when supplies are low
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating CNC Press Brakes (AMADA or similar)
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools
- Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment
- Relevant certifications in press machine operation or metal work (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
