Location: Northampton
Salary: Β£25,877 / Hourly Rate: Β£13.45
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 37 hours - Monday to Friday, start and finish times to be agreed between 8am to 5pm
About the role
Join us as a Cemeteries Support Officer and you will get to play an integral part in the provision of high quality burial services across your community. With strong communication and great organisational qualities, you will provide invaluable administrative support to our Cemeteries Team at Northampton, helping to co-ordinate and organise the services our hard working operatives provide.
This role will include tasks such as answering telephone queries, taking burial bookings, processing paperwork and general administrative duties, but it will also offer the opportunity to expand on future cemetery-specific training such as grave marking and memorial testing. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment!
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across email, telephone and in-person.
- Prior experience in an administrative / coordination role - funeral industry experience highly advantageous.
- IT literate with great working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an ability to pick up new systems.
- An eye for detail and problem solving capabilities.
