The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Manpower Belfast are working in partnership with a large public sector based client to source On Call Gritter Drivers to cover gritting duties during the winter months. This position will be based out of the Belfast Airport Road Depot.
Main Duties
- Work on an on call, rotational basis (on call 2 weeks out of every 3)
- Gritting the roads between October and April during ice/snow conditions
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
- Driving the vehicles safely
- Following a route map to ensure road is fully gritted
Hours of work
Working on an on call basis between 12pm to midnight and midnight to 12pm including weekends. Rest week every third week.
Essential Criteria
- Class C Licence
- CPC Card
- Available to work at short notice on a 24/7 basis
Desirable Criteria
- Previous gritting experience
