Hourly Rate: £12.71

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Dates: ASAP until 16th October (weather conditions dependant).

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-12:30

About the role

We currently require multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our teams in Barrow & Kendal to work on our Westmorland and Furness contract. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our client through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, and grow with us in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Requirements

  • Previous Grounds Maintenance experience beneficial or experience & willing to work outdoors
  • Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • PA1 and PA6 licenses are desirable.
  • A full valid UK manual driving licence not essential although a benefit for Kendal depot
