About the role:
We are looking for assembly mechanics to join our team. You would be responsible for constructing, maintaining, testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. You will identify parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and place orders as necessary. We are looking to seek a TIG welder and a manual machinist familiar with manual mill and lathe operation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
- Requires experience and able to show proven capabilities in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Full BPSS Screening (*Baseline Personnel Security Standard), including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, i.e. UK DBS and Drugs Screening.
