Pay Rate: Β£45 - Β£60 per hour (Depending on experience).
Duration: 6 months but likely to be extended up to 23 months with the needs of the business.

Job Purpose / Overview: We are currently recruiting for Indentured/Skilled workers to work on site at our clients offices in Motherwell. The role will involve CNC Milling of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements, working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead.
Role Responsibilities:
- Working to recognised industry standards to produce innovative, high quality software products for UK's leading defence developments;
- Working within a multi-disciplined team, utilising a variety of tools and programming languages, engaging in all aspects of the software development cycle;
- Taking responsibility for your own and others work as well as providing technical assistance to support the development of junior members of the team;
- Leading during assurance and review activities ensuring that all required configuration, release and documentation activities have been produced in accordance with the relevant standards;
- Translate requirements into software designs, implement and test solutions, and manage integration, configuration, release, and deployment of the product.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Background in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, or related subject;
- Experience with or knowledge of traditional PLC programming;
- Experience or knowledge in SCADA systems;
- Experience or knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
