Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of waste, including emptying bins and recycling cardboard and plastics.
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, brushing, and floor cleaning using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness inside the premises and around the site exterior, including weeding and clearing leaves.
- Assist with site maintenance tasks, including moving office furniture and disposing of old products.
- Support occasional painting or minor refurbishment activities as required.
- Operate a forklift truck (FLT) for baling materials and loading/unloading trucks, subject to holding a valid FLT licence.
- Ensure all cleaning and maintenance activities are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, site maintenance, or facilities support is desirable.
- Valid FLT (forklift truck) licence is highly advantageous.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and site maintenance.
- Flexibility to undertake one-off tasks such as painting or furniture moving as needed.
- Reliable and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Pay rate: £12.96 p/h. Day shifts- 07.50-16.45. Friday until 12.10pm.
