Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Bicester for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their PM Shift working Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00.
This is an excellent opportunity for a forklift driver looking for long-term employment with the potential to secure a permanent position. You will be joining a busy manufacturing and production environment where safety, quality and teamwork are key.
The Role
As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will be responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations during the 14:00 - 22:00 PM shift. You will ensure materials, stock and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock, raw materials and finished goods across the site
- Supplying production areas with materials as required
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities
- Completing stock movements and inventory tasks
- Supporting warehouse and manufacturing teams as required
- Conducting daily FLT checks and reporting defects
- Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous FLT driving experience within a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- £13.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00 PM shift
- Free on-site parking
- Weekly pay whilst temporary
