Our client, in York NE , a leading agricultural manufacturing and seed production company, is seeking a General Labor Operator to join their team. As a General Labor Operator, you will be part of the Production & Operations Department supporting the Conditioning, Packaging, Warehouse, and Shipping Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: General Labor Operator
Location: York, NE
Pay Range: 20.00/hr (1.00/hr shift differential for eligible shifts)
What's the Job?
- Operate and support seed conditioning, packaging, warehouse, and production processes.
- Receive, inspect, process, and move seed inventory while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Perform packaging, labeling, palletizing, staging, and shipping activities.
- Assist with forklift operations, warehouse organization, and inventory tracking.
- Support facility cleaning, maintenance, 5S activities, and overall plant upkeep.
What's Needed?
- Fluent English communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs. and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to work rotating schedules, overtime, weekends, and 12-hour shifts as required.
- Reliable transportation and exceptional attendance record.
- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings and resume review process.
