We are currently recruiting Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers to work nights for a well-established and busy haulage operation based in Tewkesbury. Newly qualified drivers welcome as full training will be provided.
The Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of temperature-controlled loads to depots and customer locations across the UK. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service.
Key Duties
- Driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles in line with UK driving and tachograph regulations
- Completing multi-drop deliveries to depots and customer sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Loading and unloading goods, including some manual handling
- Completing delivery paperwork or handheld system entries
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- A reliable, professional approach to work
- Comfortable working night shifts and sticking to set start times
