Manpower is recruiting Part Time Production Operatives to work for our client, based near Bonnyrigg (EH19 3JQ). You will work within the factory on the production line packing food products, cleaning equipment and completing some general warehousing duties. Please bear the location in mind as it is hard to access via public transport; ideally, candidates will have their own transport.
Please note that our client has changing requirements every week, so if you are flexible between days you can work and are looking for 1-3 shifts a week, this role would be suitable for you.
Hours and benefits:
- Dayshifts available and occasional weekend work
- Dayshift 06:30 - 14:30
- All breaks are paid breaks
- £12.40 Per hour, rising to £12.65 after 12 weeks
- Overtime after 8 hours paid at 1.5X base rate
- Weekly Pay

Duties involved:
- Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
- Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
- May be some heavy lifting involved loading products onto pallets
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good observational skills to spot defective products
- Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
- The ability to work quickly to meet production targets
- Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own
- The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
