We are recruiting an experienced Assembly Shift Technician for a global manufacturing company. You will work on high-speed, automated production machinery, including mechanical, electro-pneumatic, and electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing breakdowns to reduce downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across shifts to meet production targets
- Diagnose and repair mechanical/pneumatic/electrical breakdowns
- Support shift operations and communicate issues to other departments
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 engineering qualification (or equivalent)
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and pneumatic fault-finding skills
- Good bench fitting ability
- Ability to work continental shift pattern
- Strong communication and IT skills
Desirable
- 5+ years in high-speed production
- Machining skills (milling/turning/welding)
- Equipment installation experience
The hours of work are a 12 hour continental shift as follows, two weeks of days and two weeks of nights, 8 to 8. Day shift is 8am to 8pm and night shift is 8pm to 8am. Week one, work Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday, off Thursday, work Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Week two, off Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday and off Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
