Location: Cramlington

Shifts: 4 days off/4 days on, 06:00 - 18:00

Pay Rate: Β£12.65 per hour

The Boxing Room Operator is responsible for the accurate packing, labelling, and preparation of finished products for shipment. This role ensures products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining an organized and efficient packaging area.

Key Duties

  • Pack finished products into boxes following procedures
  • Check product quantities, labels, and batch numbers
  • Label and seal cartons correctly
  • Inspect products and packaging for damage or defects
  • Keep work area clean and organised
  • Follow safety and quality guidelines
  • Record basic production information
  • Assist with palletising and shipment preparation
  • Report any issues with products or equipment

Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • Good attention to detail
  • Basic maths and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs
  • Willingness to work onsite and shifts

Preferred (Not Essential)

  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Forklift licence or training

Warehouse/manufacturing setting; PPE required (provided by Thermo Fisher except safety boots)
